Refund Policy

This Refund Policy (“Policy”) explains how refunds are handled for purchases made through Unbound, provided by Fx Technology LTD (“Fx Technology LTD”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).By purchasing or activating any Unbound eSIM or related service (the “Services”), you agree to this Policy.

1. General Policy

All purchases made through Unbound are final.
Due to the digital and instantly consumable nature of eSIM technology, we are generally unable to offer refunds once:

  • an eSIM has been delivered, activated, or attempted to be activated, or
  • mobile data has been partially or fully consumed.

This policy applies to purchases made in fiat currency (e.g., credit/debit card via Stripe) and cryptocurrency.

2. Stripe (Card Payments) – Refund Conditions

Payments made through Stripe may be eligible for a refund only under the following limited circumstances:

Refunds may be granted if:

  1. eSIM Delivery Failure
    • You paid successfully, but the eSIM profile was not delivered to you, and our support team confirms an issue on our end.
  2. Service Activation Failure
    • A delivered eSIM cannot be activated due to a technical issue caused by us and our team confirms that the Service cannot be provided.

Refunds will not be granted if:

  • You purchased an eSIM incompatible with your device.
  • You changed your mind or no longer need the Service.
  • You submitted incorrect device, email, or activation information.
  • You consumed partial data and are dissatisfied with speed or coverage (as these are controlled by third-party carriers).
  • Network, coverage, or speed issues are caused by local operators, congestion, travel conditions, or geographic limitations.
  • You failed to follow activation instructions provided on the Platform.

If a refund is approved, it will be processed only to the original payment method in accordance with Stripe’s policies and timelines (typically 5–10 business days).

3. Cryptocurrency Payments – Strictly Non-Refundable

Payments made using cryptocurrency are strictly non-refundable.

Once a crypto payment is sent, it cannot be returned under any circumstance, including failure to activate, user error, device incompatibility, or change of travel plans.

4. Incorrect Purchase or Device Incompatibility

You are responsible for confirming:

  • your device supports eSIM technology,
  • your device is unlocked, and
  • The selected eSIM plan is suitable for your travel destination.

We do not provide refunds for orders made in error or due to device incompatibility.

5. Network Performance & Coverage

Unbound relies on third-party mobile network operators in each country.
We cannot control:

  • local coverage quality,
  • roaming agreements,
  • network congestion,
  • speed throttling,
  • fair-use limits, or
  • outages by local operators.

Therefore, we do not provide refunds for network performance issues unless the failure is confirmed to be a result of Fx Technology LTD’s systems.

6. Duplicate Purchases

Refunds may be granted for duplicate purchases only if:

  • both purchases were made accidentally within a short timeframe, and
  • neither eSIM was activated or used.

7. Fraud Prevention

If we suspect fraud, abuse, payment disputes, or misuse of the Platform:

  • refunds will not be granted,
  • accounts may be suspended or terminated, and
  • we may work with Stripe, crypto processors, or regulatory authorities if required.

8. How to Request a Refund

To submit a refund request, contact our support team within 7 days of purchase:

Please include:

  • your order ID,
  • the email used for purchase,
  • device model,
  • screenshots of error messages (if applicable), and
  • a detailed description of the issue.

We may request additional information or diagnostic evidence to verify eligibility.

9. Final Decision

Fx Technology LTD reserves the right to:

  • approve or decline refund requests at our sole discretion, and
  • interpret this Policy in the event of ambiguity.

All decisions made by Fx Technology LTD regarding refunds are final.

10. Updates to This Policy

We may update this Refund Policy at any time.
Any changes will take effect immediately upon publication on our Platform.
